
The Communiqué Awards has announced its 2026 winner of the Healthcare Communiquétor Award, with Neil Flash taking the top honor. Neil has built a distinguished career in healthcare communications, culminating in leadership roles before founding Ignition Consulting.
Across agency and independent leadership, he has consistently combined commercial success with strategic impact, helping organisations, teams and clients grow in confidence, capability and effectiveness. His commitment to advancing health communications extends beyond his business, with roles including Agency Representative on the HCA board and co-chair of the Communiqué Awards.

Neil has helped strengthen standards, shape industry thinking, and build the profession’s reputation through these roles and his contribution to the HCA’s sector-first partnership best-practice playbook. He is widely recognised for his collaborative leadership style and ability to bring stakeholders together.
Neil has consistently used his experience and influence to push the industry forward, championing diversity, equity and inclusion through support for Black Professionals in Lifesciences and his involvement as founding supporter and lecturer in the inaugural Taylor Bennett Foundation/HCA programme.
